Company ranked in Leaders Quadrant based on its ability to facilitate digital transformations and meet client future requirements

TOKYO – March 15, 2021 – NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services provider, today announced it has been named a Leader in the NelsonHall 2020 NEAT Report for Salesforce Services. The report analyzed the performance of 13 vendors based on their offerings, delivery excellence, market presence and benefits achieved with Salesforce services in the Digital Transformation Capability market segment.

The report placed NTT DATA in the highest of NelsonHall’s four quadrants based on the strength of the company’s service portfolio, industry solutions and consulting business. NelsonHall credited NTT DATA for the effective way it has structured its portfolio around consulting, systems integration, and post-implementation, with a focus on newer offerings such as vertical clouds and Sales Cloud CPQ. The report also ranked NTT DATA highly for its industry solutions, blueprints and reference architectures targeting sectors such as communication service providers.

“To achieve true digital transformation, companies need to channel the capabilities of disruptive technologies such as Salesforce to meet their own unique needs,” said Yutaka Sasaki, Executive Vice President, NTT DATA Corporation. “After 15 years partnering on Salesforce implementations, we have the platform knowledge, industry expertise and talent to help customers succeed at any point along their Salesforce journeys. Our comprehensive services span the full lifecycle of customer needs from advisory analysis all the way through process design, integration and technical design, implementation, migration, custom development and ongoing management.”

NelsonHall highlighted a number of NTT DATA strategic initiatives, including its emphasis on vertical solutions in industries such as insurance and healthcare; creation of accelerator offerings helping companies integrate SAP S4/HANA capabilities and respond to COVID-19 challenges; and accompaniment of Salesforce integrations utilizing MuleSoft certifications.

Evaluating vendors on their “ability to deliver immediate benefit” and their “ability to meet client future requirements,” NelsonHall placed NTT DATA in the Leader category for its success in meeting both objectives, as well as its focus on enabling digital transformation for its Salesforce clients. The report also recognizes NTT DATA for its own internal shift in the past 12 months to expand its expertise in sales and service to consulting, to help clients in their digital transformation journey and understand their challenges.

“NTT DATA has successfully repositioned its portfolio and added consulting capabilities to its more technical expertise. This positions NTT DATA well in Salesforce-based digital transformation for its clients,” said Dominique Raviart, IT Services Practice Director, NelsonHall. “NTT DATA is also investing in further verticalizing its offerings through blueprints, reference architecture and industry solutions,” he added.
