NTT DATA Recognized as a Leader in Managed Workplace Services in North America by Gartner for the Second Consecutive Year

Gartner also named the global IT services leader a Visionary in Europe

PLANO, TX – March 11, 2020 – NTT DATA, a recognized leader in global technology services, today announced the company was named a Leader for the second consecutive year in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services, North America report, which analyzes 20 vendors based on their ability to execute and completeness of vision. NTT DATA was also named a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services, Europe.

In North America, NTT DATA has more than 210 Managed Workplace Services (MWS) clients, as well as specific solutions for priority verticals, including healthcare, banking, insurance, public sector and automotive. Over the last year, NTT DATA increased the number of MWS-supported client users by more than 10%. In addition, the report highlights NTT DATA’s use of AI and advanced analytics to deliver user experience-centric services, which has enabled reduction of IT costs by as much as 20%, while also increasing user sentiment by as much as 20%.

“We believe our Leader position in North America demonstrates our ability to provide personalized employee experiences powered by automation through our cloud-based intelligent enterprise platform, Nucleus,” said Eric Clark, Chief Digital Officer, NTT DATA Services. “By continuing to invest in enabling a modern workforce, we deliver insights and solutions that focus on outcome-based measurements, which help achieve positive business results for our clients.”

With a DevOps approach to MWS, NTT DATA emphasizes supporting applications and infrastructure concurrently rather than addressing individual issues separately, which allows for experience-level agreements that include incentives and penalties that drive digital workplace transformation.

In addition, the report highlights NTT DATA’s Nucleus Automation Effectiveness Dashboard (NAED), which monitors ticket resolutions across all clients, providing insight into how incidents are resolved and applying findings to ensure the optimal use of resources across its client base.

“A strong digital workplace environment is increasingly seen as essential to attract and retain talent, engage staff, and drive user productivity,” according to Gartner.

NTT DATA leverages its deep product engineering knowledge to provide device-agnostic end-user support, which eliminates bias toward specific hardware manufacturers. In addition, the company uses its Open Innovation program to crowdsource new digital workplace solutions.
