NTT DATA’s POC software now captures data on care provided as it is delivered and feeds it to Assured℠ Proactive Analytics software. This software then leverages charting data to help ensure optimal payment for long-term care providers.
NetSolutions Point-of-Care uniquely supports integrated electronic record tracking for caregivers charting services they deliver, a process traditionally managed with diverse, and often manual, systems resulting in incomplete and inaccurate results. With this new software, data can be collected in wall-mounted kiosks or conveniently-located PCs. By making charting more convenient, point-of-care systems have been shown to increase the quality, quantity, and accessibility of data.
Payment by Medicare for long-term and post-acute care (LTPAC) providers is based on a complex assessment process. This real-time analytics engine, currently in the market supporting more than 300 client sites, is designed to show providers the possible payment outcomes for each resident. It uses real-time daily scoring and reporting to deliver unique analytics that simplify decisions and protect providers from underpayment.
