Plano, TX – May 14, 2013 – NTT DATA, Inc., a leading IT services provider, announced an expanded customer agreement today with Soraa, Inc., a world leader in gallium-nitride on gallium-nitride (GaN on GaN™) LED technology. Challenged with providing rapid real-time reporting to executives, as well as better interaction with their back-end enterprise, on-demand CRM and other applications, Soraa will adopt SAP Business Suite on HANA®.  NTT DATA’s expanded responsibilities will include identifying key opportunities aligned with technology and business strategies, building a solid roadmap, and migration implementation services to move Soraa’s current SAP Business All-in-One enterprise application from its existing Sybase database to SAP Business Suite on HANA powered by SAP HANA®.   This marks the first partner-driven sale of Business Suite on HANA license by NTT DATA.

“We strive to be technology pioneers when doing so can lead to exponential improvements in our business, and the SAP Business Suite on HANA is one example of early adoption that fits our criteria,” said Eran Ziv, vice president of finance at Soraa, Inc. “The SAP HANA solution allows us to have real-time access to data in order to support rapid, more informed decisions that impact product development, delivery and customer service. NTT DATA is a trusted advisor and their mix of strategy and technology know-how and knowledge of our business continues to help us achieve our business objectives.”

SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA helps customers to manage mission-critical business processes in real time such as planning, execution, reporting and analysis. It provides a flexible, cost effective, real-time approach for managing large data volumes, allowing users to dramatically reduce hardware and maintenance costs.

“We know that successful organizations must learn to strategically deal with their large amounts of data as quickly as possible in order to make better, real-time decisions and stay competitive,” said Bhalchandra Bhosale, senior vice president, Enterprise Services at NTT DATA, Inc. “We believe the new capabilities can help put pioneers such as Soraa well ahead of its peers for years to come.”
