Leadership Lessons Learned
1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Join NTT DATA’s senior vice president Chris Merdon as he shares a unique perspective on leadership lessons learned while attending survival school in the Utah desert in an entertaining storytelling session format.
“Imagine 100+ temperatures, no technology, mountain wilderness and desert washes … and a small band of strangers each equipped with a blanket, poncho, water bottle and a knife while tasked with surviving for a week. As a former county CIO, elected official and now private industry executive, I’ve had my share of leadership lessons, but none hit home more than those I learned the week I spent at survival school in the Utah desert. Join me as I share lessons in leadership and survival I learned during week of hardship, hunger and humility.”
Family Feud: 50th Anniversary Edition
3:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Survey says...don't miss this session. During this lively event, NASCIO members will respond to lighthearted questions and gain insight into the minds of NASCIO members. NTT DATA’s sales executive Corky Allen will join the BLUE team to represent the NASCIO “family” rounding out the roster with a current state CIO, a former state CIO and a non-CIO state member.
