New York, NY – April 25, 2012  NTT DATA, Inc., a leading IT professional services provider and a regional operating unit of the Japan-based NTT DATA Corporation, today announced the successful deployment of its Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) solution at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, based in Red Oak, Iowa.  To complete the project, NTT DATA partnered with EPOWERdoc, an industry leader in Emergency Department documentation solutions. Montgomery County Memorial Hospital can now expect greater flexibility and seamless coordination among disparate Information Sources and the NTT DATA Optimum™ solutions currently installed in the hospital.

We chose NTT DATA based on its extensive healthcare experience, their expertise in the hospital setting, and more specifically the flexibility that they offer us by having software solutions that conform to our needs,” said Ron Kloewer, CIO of Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. “We anticipate the benefits of hospital-wide integration, including the Emergency Department, will be felt by patients and by staff right away.”

NTT DATA and EPOWERdoc have worked closely to integrate the Emergency Department module with the Optimum Suite to provide seamless data transfer and usability across platforms.
